Tips and recommendations

1. Your chargebacks will increase. To make sure they don’t increase so much:

Be proactive when subscribers reach out to your customer center

Please provide us with your Unsubscribe and Refund Policy for the specific program. Contact us at [email protected]

2. Add a section on your website about subscriptions. Include your rules, cancelation process, refund policy and anything that is relevant for a transparent and successful enterprise.

3. The DEFAULT selection on your product page must be the one-time purchase. This is based on Visa and Mastercard rules. The default option can not be the recurrent payment.

4. Make your cancellation process fair, clear and EASY.

5. You are responsible for double checking successful payment before shipping a recurrent order. If your buyer uses prepaid cards the chances of failed payments increase as these cards run out of balance.

6. Your subscription needs to be configured to send programmed communications BEFORE a buyer is charged for the next month. This is part of the card associations good practices rules.
