As a customer, you probably want to know how much CBD, CBG, CBN, or THC the product contains to deliver the desired effect. Additionally, if you’re purchasing a hemp product, you need to ensure that it contains less than the legal limit of 0.3% THC.

In the example below, we will calculate the total cannabinoid percentage. To do this, we will take the sample weight, transform it into mg, and multiply it by 0.3%. If the result is higher than the Total Potential THC in mg listed in the COA, it means the product is compliant with the Farm Bill 2018.

Calculation Example:

Sample weight: 5.7g

Sample weight in mg: 5.7g x 1000 = 5700mg

THC limit: 5700mg x 0.3% = 17.1mg (This is the THC mg limit)

Total Potential THC: 1.80mg (This is lower than 17.1mg)

Therefore, this item is COMPLIANT.
