What happens when a COA is about to expire?

Last Update 7 maanden geleden

As a WAAVE Merchant, you will be able to see items blocked due to COA issues in your WAAVE dashboard under COA Management.  The number of blocked items shows up in RED.

If you updated the COA, you can request a review by clicking on Request Review.

As a WAAVE Merchant, you can see which COAs are within 60 days of expiring but approved for sale. An orange counter tells you how many COAs there are, and a button allows you to update the COAs earlier.

If you don’t click on New COA Submitted the item will be moved to COA Management and blocked from sale once the original expiration arrives.

When a WAAVE Merchant submits a new COA, the Compliance Team receives a notification in order to get the new COA reviewed for approval.

Communications the merchant receives:

60 days before expiration:

Hello Team {venue name}

You have a COA expiring in 60 days:

{product url} {expiration date}

Once they have expired the system will block the sale of the products automatically.

This is what you need to do:

  1. Go to your WAAVE Dashboard to request new COAs for the products. Please follow the steps and ship samples to our partner lab. Once we get the new COA we will update the expiration date and you will be able to download the new COAs from your merchant dashboard to update your website.

  1. If you have obtained COAs from another lab please make sure you upload them to your website as the last picture of the product on the product page and after doing so, let us know by clicking on the “New COA submitted”, as this will trigger review. You will find the products under the “Approved” column.
